    Many charities are under great pressure  to continually raise funds for their particular causes. Sadly, the public is becoming "donor weary" and funds increasingly difficult to acquire. Thus, fresh new ideas and means of raising money are vital to the lifeline of many charitable organisations in the UK.

    just romania offers a new idea in helping charites to raise funds through its trips to  Romania;

    Open Challenges

    just romania operates regular open challenges to Transylvania from May until September each year. These include treks, bike rides and teambuilding trips in the Carpathian Mountains. Our particular trips offer great advantages to charities for a number of reasons;

    • You don't need to recruit a minimum number of participants
    • You don't make any payment whatsoever for tour costs or organisation
    • No trip administration for you to worry about, giving you time to focus your vital energies, encouraging your supporters
    • Fixed dates, making planning for everyone concerned, simple, easy and straightforward
    • Minimal promotion required - all you have to do is let your supporters know about our programme of open challenges and we do the rest. We will also provide the necessary information and literature such as leaflet, brochures and maps etc...
    Now here is where just romania offers something different;

    • We do not handle any of the funds raised for your charity unless specifically asked to do so. The amount to be pledged and raised is simply a matter between the charity and the participant, and is paid directly to the charity. We are not concerned about cost-income ratios. Neither do we take a percentage of the sponsorship. We just charge the participant for the cost of the trip. We recognise how important cash flow is to a charity. Sponsorship money is strictly for your organisation and projects. There is no need whatsover, for us to handle your sponsorship income.

    • Overseas challenges have become very popular these days, but many trips can be quite restrictive, ie. treks to the Himalayas, Andes, Sahara and the Great Wall of China, wonderful as they are, are out of the realms of possibility for a large number of would be challengers and wannabe fundraisers. Our Transylvania Trekkin' and  Transylvanian Bike Ride challenges are designed to appeal to a wider range of abilities and age groups from students to active senior citizens. Romania is just a 3-hour flight away and the trip doesn't cost an arm and a leg, perhaps the odd blister.

    • £50 of the trip cost paid by every participant is donated in aid of a vital humanitarian project in Romania. just romania supports the work of the Christian charity, Robin Hood Ministries  in its fight against extreme poverty and deprivation  in the north east Romanian city of Iasi. Thus, together we create a fundraising one-two; your charity wins and our vital project work  in Romania also benefits from every participant!

    • Transylvania remains one of the last unspoiled mountain regions of Europe and offers an unforgetable experience to many travellers there; the scenery is dramatic and stunning; the history of the region is  fascinating; the hospitality is friendly and welcoming.
